Our fridge inline water filter is both a GAC post filter and is more commonly used as the inline filter for water appliances such as fridge filter ice makers. The fridge water filter replacement uses KX granular activated carbon media, the carbon filter absorbs and removes pesticide, organic chemicals, chlorine, bad odor and taste from water that would of ending up in your fridge ice maker.

Installation is quick and easy vie the standard 1/4″ threaded ends with a directional flow arrow printed on the filter cartridge. It is recommended to flush the water line after installation to remove loose carbon fines (particles). Generally, this filter is replaced every 12 months to assure quality of water.
